Azure has no managed OpenZFS service. For NFS workloads moving from FSx for OpenZFS, the usual Azure targets are Azure NetApp Files or Azure Files NFS.
- FSx for OpenZFS supports NFS v3 through v4.2, ZFS snapshots, compression, and an Intelligent-Tiering storage class. Azure NetApp Files supports NFSv3 and NFSv4.1, and Azure Files supports NFS 4.1 only, so check client and feature compatibility before migrating.
